but a tesla costs over $100.000. I dont have that much money. this bike is a good begining to make a standard product line. there are more vids like emoto or blade 04 about what such a bike can be. i take the train for real long ways. why should i take the own car or motorcycle? am i silly? no. so fu** of with you “only 50miles range”- blah blah dumbies …
11 or 15 thousand … hmmm … cheap enough for hand made stuff. in future the price will be lower with an assembly line for these bikes.

im sure it can be upgraded quite easily once tech evolves

    HOW FAST

These guys sound really depressed. :(

If gas goes back up to $4.00/Gal, they’ll sell a few of these, too expensive though, I commute to work on a 80 M.P.G. 250 Ninja I bought new for $3.000, I would have to commute for decades to make the price of the Brammo worth the expense.

burn gas people…. 3 hour charge for 45 minutes thats real consumer friendly…..

  7. drty530 says:

He said 45 miles, not minutes.

It’s new technology. You can’t expect it to be perfect right away.

    eletric motorcycle = homo

  9. jpm000001 says:

    what do you ride?

  10. jpm000001 says:

lol, that’s what i was thinking… especially the moto usa guy… terrible interview

  11. jpm000001 says:

12 grand for 45 miles at 25 mph! sorry you guys have a long ways to go!

  12. designhuxster says:

Where did you hear 25mph? I heard 20hp 36lbft. You should check out the Brammo vids. They’re racing a TT version at the Isle of Mann. Pretty sick.

  13. jpmorgan187 says:

well that’s strange… why does the company have a massive backlog?

    oh they’re probably lieing

  14. jpmorgan187 says:

So how do you recover the cost of a gas bike?

  15. jpmorgan187 says:

your shitty loudy ugly harleys are dieing breed… electrics are the future old man

  16. jpmorgan187 says:

why is it stupid? the biggest enemy of electrics is weight… cars weigh in at 2000 pounds, motorcycles 200 pounds. who’s stupid now?

another thing, you live near a city? probably not you dumb redneck… the roadways are way too congested.

  17. yellowbusguy says:

Hey jp. So no one here is allowed to have an opinion on this subject? So you are going to call people names and make up stats to support your own ingnorance? Find something else to do.

  18. jpmorgan187 says:

well when people say stupid things they deserved to be called stupid.

what did i “make up” ? please let me know

  19. MustLovePoop says:

compared to a ninja 250 this bike isn’t worth it, 250 gets 70 mpg, and can easily maintain a speed of 60 mph for 200 milesand at $3,500 it’s a steal. The inertia costs $12,000, top speed is 55 mph, and range of 45 miles. At 70 mpg does anyone care about the price of gas.

  20. TopFall says:

hey im wanting a bike as my first vehicle, and Harleys have the look but this will save me money so which would be better? And are bikes easy to steal because I live in a town full of lets say bad influences.

  21. jmacaldo83 says:

You’re absolutely right! Everyone who is smart as you knows that batteries weigh next to nothing!!

  22. jpmorgan187 says:

wow you missed the point big time

  23. upcycle says:

is it chain drive? still hearing some mechanical noise when accelorating or powering down the road

  24. upcycle says:

be nice if they could get rid of the mechanical sound. go with belt drive?

  25. 6sixpounder6 says:

for the price of an enertia you could also get a suzuki boulevard. newer models get 45 mpg and haul like a real bike. a very good thing to note is that this thing tops out at about 50mph, which makes it a bad choice for highway riding. and as far as your theft problem, there is always low jack. you hide a small transmitter somewhere on your frame so the cops can track it down if it is stolen (well worth while if you’re gonna drop 10+ grand on a bike).
