2008 Yamaha R6 Motorcycle Review - First Ride - Part 1 Read the full motorcycle review at Motorcycle.com. www.motorcycle.com Yamaha's YZF-R6 has been a major player in the middleweight sportbike wars ever since it debuted in 1999. In this mid-cycle revision for 2008, the tweaked R6 has a bolstered midrange punch and even better handling dynamics in the face of new-for-2007 challengers from Honda and Kawasaki, plus a revised GSX-R600 from Suzuki for '08....

If you don’t ride right now, then you have no business on a new r6. Just rev one. Serious. It’ll scare you off. That motor pegs the INSTANT you roll it back.
etsiiii…gamaei h yamaha..!!
hahaha
i want one of these so bad, but my dad is making me get a 250 cc bike to learn and i think he is right
this bike is extreamly uncomfortable 2 ride 4 more than 30min your back will feel like a sour jello tube it feels like your face is up by the headlights r1 is way better.
SEXY!!!!
how tall and how much should you weight to ride this type of bike??
Go for the R1 2009 its got a crossplane shaft so it allows newer users the chance to use it without scaring themselves tooo much
well its not reeally meant to be ridden for hours on end.
well, ive set on one before and im 5’8″ and it was a little to tall for me, but i could manage.
wat the fuck is the asian dude saying
wazer shawp handering.
I like mandarins
the question you should ask is how experienced am i?
This is unquestionably the best production racer ever built!
is it good for a first bike?
most experienced riders will tell you no, and from personal experience I will also tell you no. Get a 250, its easier to handle and hella lot cheaper to fix WHEN you drop it, because you will drop your first bike. Drop the 2 g for a 250 and play with that for 6-12 months then sell that and get the 600 of your choice
Get what you want and just take it slow.
Dont listen to people who say things like you WILL drop your bike, that bullshit. I have a 2009 R6 and have had several bikes, been riding 3 years and i’ve never dropped any of them. Get the R6 if you want, just take your time with it.
ahah
lmao
im around 5’10 5’11
and im about an inch and a half away from flat footing it
but you can get it lowered
yeah but that really depends on proportions cuz im only 5’7” and i can flat foot it just fine
what??? what year was it?? and if it was a 09 than it must have been lowered.
mmm this is the best moto 600cc ;]
idk it was like a 2005.. why is it taller now?
oh ya its 43 inches off the ground now (at least thats what it says on the specs)
