If you don’t ride right now, then you have no business on a new r6. Just rev one. Serious. It’ll scare you off. That motor pegs the INSTANT you roll it back.

this bike is extreamly uncomfortable 2 ride 4 more than 30min your back will feel like a sour jello tube it feels like your face is up by the headlights r1 is way better.

  6. 075Vishal says:

how tall and how much should you weight to ride this type of bike??

  7. daithisa says:

Go for the R1 2009 its got a crossplane shaft so it allows newer users the chance to use it without scaring themselves tooo much

  8. WetDirtProductions says:

well its not reeally meant to be ridden for hours on end.

  9. JEFFMM71 says:

the question you should ask is how experienced am i?

  14. balistoides1 says:

This is unquestionably the best production racer ever built!

  15. kNd2k7 says:

is it good for a first bike?

  16. Pinkycrust says:

most experienced riders will tell you no, and from personal experience I will also tell you no. Get a 250, its easier to handle and hella lot cheaper to fix WHEN you drop it, because you will drop your first bike. Drop the 2 g for a 250 and play with that for 6-12 months then sell that and get the 600 of your choice

  17. TheZ07 says:

Get what you want and just take it slow.
Dont listen to people who say things like you WILL drop your bike, that bullshit. I have a 2009 R6 and have had several bikes, been riding 3 years and i’ve never dropped any of them. Get the R6 if you want, just take your time with it.

  20. CIutch94 says:

    im around 5’10 5’11

and im about an inch and a half away from flat footing it

but you can get it lowered

  21. robbscool says:

yeah but that really depends on proportions cuz im only 5’7” and i can flat foot it just fine

  22. CIutch94 says:

what??? what year was it?? and if it was a 09 than it must have been lowered.

  23. Bolek1993 says:

mmm this is the best moto 600cc ;]

  24. robbscool says:

idk it was like a 2005.. why is it taller now?

  25. CIutch94 says:

oh ya its 43 inches off the ground now (at least thats what it says on the specs)
