Interesting. As a Street Bob owner, I’m not a big on the fat tires, which IMO that and the drag bars make it this bike come off as a mix between the Rocker and Fat boy. It sounded great until the end when you could tell it was not a V twin. A bit more than I’d pay in a recession. Who Am I kidding, I’d never buy it, Harley’s my bike. Not a bad transition bike though.

makes me wanted pull out my 66 Triumph bonneville, she just needs some TLC..

  3. mchlor says:

they’d better put some red locktite on the bolts on that bike.

  4. tmcmkiwi says:

No, it’s a 1600, and Triumph use something called “technology” and employ people called “engineers” which means they will have designed it so it doesn’t vibrate. The current 865 twins are as smooth as silk at any revs.

    Hope that answers you questions.

    4. that person will ask you out on the next Friday
    5. you will have the best day tomorrow

After market exhausts will make this baby growl.

The more I see it the more I want one but I’d love to see a Bonnie or Thruxton with an engine of this size. (Triumph marketing, are you there? I’ve seen lots of similar requests)

Now that would be something to take out on sunny Sunday (after church of course….:-) )

  10. fooootie says:

They should have left the crank at 360 degrees.

It sounds like a Honda CB450

  11. tattooedcouple says:

with off road pipes the 270 degree will be awesome..just like my america.the new t-bird is a HD eater

I just love the new Triumphs,i just wish that they would rev and sound as angry as my 750 Bonnie, with half race cams, the new ones sound so tame by comparison.

  16. traktime says:

Yet another Harley “wanna-be” , just as slow but nowhere near the looks!

  17. krogshede says:

Harley wannabe ??? Its got a parelleltwin engine,- Its made in Brittain, can it be more different?
And Triumph looks way better than any Harley,- you must be a complete moron..

  18. zice39 says:

    great sounding bike!

  19. ivajambox says:

ever ride a triumph? the parellel twin produces a different kind of power. ive got a 865 that will toast anything under 100 ci

  20. sml2727 says:

I like it I wonder how the stock seat is, I wonder how it would perform againt a RS warrior?

  21. chogyonym says:

totally agree.i have a speedmaster that scares alot of bikes….not expecting a little 865 to toast em!

  22. sconbone12 says:

had it over the weekend. first thing I did this morning was start selling my HD. Got a speedmaster already and I can´t wait to get the bigger sister. I am completely hooked by the new T-bird. Triumph rule !! got it ?

  23. JosefWunsche says:

So it’s British, I can appreciate that. But it’s still a Harley copy. Triumph have no shame..Belt drive, clock console on the tank, why couldn’t they create something without copying. Immitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Save up a bit longer and get the real deal.

  24. h4rleyhog says:

JosefWunsche, Stop Embarassing YOURSELF and other Harley owners, not all think like this TWIT. First look at the facts, Triumph was established in 1902 and Harley in 1909, so acutally they have been round longer hence more of the REAL DEAL! Secondly the Harley power train is a V TWIN and Triumph is a parelleltwin, styling is VERY different. I’m a Harley owner but I also own other bikes, get out and actually ride different bikes and LEARN bout them instead of posting idiotic comments!!!

  25. JosefWunsche says:

    Twit? Idiotic comments? Fuck you.
