Notice how it sounds like a Veyron at the end? I’m not a bike guy, but I can certainly appreciate what people come up with these days.

  5. abl78 says:

Is there any issues with liquid lock, like on actual aircraft radials, liquid lock can pop a cylinder of just by moving the props by hand..

  6. afghanpilot says:

JRL installed a oil return line and a one-way valve in the bottom cylinders that automatically pumps the oil back to the tank minimizing cylinder lock. -Ollie

  7. abl78 says:

wonderfull,I have spun many props on radial engine and one has to be carefull to do it right, besides we used to say that if a radial engine doesn’t leak oil, that means that there is no oil in it, hence the little coffee can under the cowlings to recover drippings.., Thanks for the reply !

  8. afghanpilot says:

Abl178 take a look at the first production bike on the JRL site. It’s located on the bottom of the home page. -Ollie

It looks like a Rotec. If anyone knows for certain the type please respond.

  12. afghanpilot says:

You are correct, it is Rotec’s 171ci/2800cc 7 cylinder radial engine. JRL also offers this motorcycle with an optional Rotec 9 cylinder. Afghanpilot (Ollie)
