   Spike strips do not themselves shread tires.
   The tire shreads after heat and abrasion from prolonged use without air.
   Spike strips use needles to deflate the tire.
   IF.. the sealant within the tire/rim combo were to encompass all available volume then spike strips would lose the purpose of deflating the tire.
   The physical ramifications of the needle being exposed from the tire to the exterior road surface would then become of issue to “shreadding”, i.e. needle lenght.

   the way they build them is the same way we build them in germany and the same way bridgstone builds there tires.

   the new way cops spike tires is with holo tubes that stick in the tire, so basicly this wont help you a lick in that situation

    that is absolutely amazing, i remember gettin a nail in my fzr bk wheel and had 2 leave it in untill i got home n get a replacement on, had 2 ride slow home too great idea and where do i buy?

    Actually your right. New spike strips would deflate that tire. They actually have hollow neddles that break off into the tire and lets the air come out. The gell woud be useless since the neddle penetrates about 2 inchs into the tire. The are just like suringes.
