Looks great! I spoke with Rich last week and am sending my seat off today. Thanks for taking the time to do this video — most people don’t understand what a difference a good seat will make over the lifetime of your bike. $1k for loud pipes vs. $350 for a great seat that will completely change your riding experience?
put your helmet on! squid.
oh, and that’s an awesome bike, and nice seat!
Why do you sit on the seat with your normal pants on? I would do that with my ‘suit’. Anyway, nice fid and hope to see some more riding!
Good question. I can only speculate on the answer. I think part of that fitting exercise is to get the seat angles right for where your thighs are on the seat. I did ride the bike for twenty minutes with my Aerostitch on. I noticed two small areas of discomfort, one of which Rich solved by further shaping. The other factor turned out to be the suit itself; it can bunch up in your crotch. Once I “self-adjusted,” the ride was perfectly comfortable. For a better answer, call Rich: 866.328.9774
I’m still trying to figure out how he got the chime to sound when measuring your ass with the pencil.
lol, i think when someone opens the front door to their store that noise comes out of a speaker. imo
That is exactly right. This wasn’t a planned shoot, and I had never been to Rich’s before. I just showed up to have my seat done, and had brought a small video camera along. If I could have disconnected that thing, I would have; It drove me nuts.
When Rich watches this video, he looks towards the door every time he hears that chime. LOL!
i have a XR650L and it has a seat height of 37 inches, tall for my short legs so i tried to cut some foam out of the seat, it did not work out too well, so i had to buy a new seat for a little over $200 dollars. oh well, at least i tried.
lol. cool
