Interesting how KTM owns dakar but cant beat honda in the baja 1000 or 500. Ever. I wonder why.
This version (the Dakar version at least) is the 690 rally. I’ve heard of a 690 adventure but I think that that’s either a rumor or that it’s still to come out.
Dakar is all about consistancy and reliability…steady wins the race. I love Honda (I ride an XR) but the combination of sick assed riders who can go the distance and a reliable high performace racing bike win the day at Dakar
Andy would have went on to win a Dakar for sure.

KTM has entered the Baja 1000 for years. Cant beat the crf 450s now.
