    Leno sounds like a complete jerk to be riding a bike that can melt another vehicle’s bumper on a public road. I’d be PISSED if that happened to my car.

    In real life the jet has a top speed of almost 500 mile per hour. If it were going all out the stupid bike would have lost. While we are being stupid lets race a go kart and a Saturn 5 rocket…..

    That was kinda a stupid race. A helicopter engine in a motorcycle on land against a jet in the air that has a far higher top speed in real life. Pointless race. :(

    That by should not be road legal,it’s dangerous.And it wil be a lot cheaper to get a Kawasaki ZZ-R1400 and put a turo charger on it.

    Cool Jay. I designed a jet powered motorcycle with a single axial compressor shaft and two afterburners when I was a jet engine mechanic at Edwards AFB in 1979. I sent a modified version design to Suzuki contest and won a bike and offered me a job. Cycle Guide 8/80 issue did a nice article about my design. I have nearly 50 bikes now but none are jet powered. I’m no Jay Leno. Money talks!

    And after buying that ZX14 and putting a turbo n it, you can buy a house and garage to put it in for the same price as one Y2K bike.

    If it can’t go around corners, it is kind of pointless. Just a technology demonstrator in the form of a drag bike.

    I’ll take the ZX14, please.
