“rosemickey11- buell and harley are two of the best bikes out there” – Lol! Harley is a piece of shit, ridden by mid life crisis redneck fucktards who have small dicks.

  2. wayneywilksboro says:

    pretty cool

  3. ppcourson says:

Manufacturers get it wrong all the time, they get lazy and then suddenly they realize a decade of laziness cannot be turned around in 6 months. At least this shows that these people now understand the people who ride their bikes

  4. NorweeeganHelmet says:

thisyearzero – hahaaa! About Harleys, I couldnt agree more. Avoid like the plague!!!!!!!! People that ride Harleys make my skin crawl.

  5. pollypregoprissy says:

  10. Byrdlandian says:

companies and products like this are the key to the US recovery, I totally agree with the message put forward here – we have to understand and acknowledge our mistakes, but in the end the only thing that’s important is moving forward.

  11. Sandygeorgie says:

  15. bibiyou48 says:

an awesome way to get past a bad product, though the blast was not a bad product at all, it just wasn’t great. In a sense Buell have on of the most innovative engine manufacturers around.

  16. rabidduckies says:

wtf!!! I bought that bike! sheesh, can I get a rebate!?!?!?!

  17. mrcocopoppy says:

rabidduckies, why don’t you crush it and post the video??:)

  18. MizzRedcaps says:

actually i think this is a really clever advert, you end up think the CEO has his heart in the right place and is totally passionate about his company

  19. scientivore says:

Obviously the Blast was a bit of an embarassment to the company, or they wouldn’t have spent money to publicise the fact that they were discontinuing it.

I’m guessing the problem is that the American market is only interested in cruisers and sportbikes, and the Blast wasn’t really a sportbike. (I notice that the other Buells are now available with fairings, making them even more like typical sportbikes.)

I own a Blast and I like it. I guess I’ll have to switch to a European brand like Ducati.

  20. 7ismyloco says:

I think you may not be understanding it scientivore, I get from the advert that they are coming out with a new sport bike that’s a real sportbike, so no need to go to Ducati.

  21. Captkokocaff says:

pure genius, i would so love to do that to something

  22. juliusjesus2 says:

    i agree, good commercial

  23. NotAfraid2UseIt says:

    and the new model is…….

  24. atgmam says:

The blast is, simple, fun, and inexpencive. That is what makes it great and stand out from the mass of high tech sport bikes. More isn’t always better. The simplicity makes this the best bike for beginners and small ladies. You don’t buy a blast because it is the fastest or the most technologically advanced bike. Peaple buy it, because it is simple, easy, and fun. If changes are made, I hope they keep the bike simple, cheap and fun.

  25. shimric20 says:

Some of you are huge crybabies. Erik Buell did what he thought was best. That bike was only accountable for like 9% of all Buell sales. Big deal, get over it. Buy an XB9.
