Are people that shallow? The man’s life was at stake yet you’re amazed the camera survived. Thank goodness he did survive without major or critical injuries though.
no watch the whole video, you see that when he was entering the turn he was too far to the left and hit the cliff on the left, that was enough to push him back and break contact between his hands and handlebars, you see he tried to keep the bike tilted with his weight(he was leant left) but i recon that even he wasnt shooked up from that first hit even if he reached to grab the handlebars he would still crash…
P.S. he wasnt doing 170 miles an hour when he crashed
I think you have it wrong.. When he taps the wall with his shoulder that’s just enough force to start a head shake.
the best way to stop the shake is to let go of the handle bars… He just ran out of road before the shake stopped and he hit the bales.
at those speeds , even the smallest bump is enough for you to lose grip, tapping the wall was just enough.
1:10 thats why its almost stupid to race these things this fast, no matter how good or how strong you are, the bike is stronger than you, and gravity si stronger than both of you
@Zbeast. You are right. If you let the pressure off the handle bars then physics does the work. If you hold on to the handle bars you make the shake much worse.
he raises his hands, cos he probably knew he was gonna crash
or not
lol I saw that on discovery (distroyed in seconds)
poor kid who see the crash
0:10 Fucking fast?Btw Love that sound ;X
lol £10k-£15k down the drain.. wrecked
“amazingly the camera survives”

he raised his hands so his his arms werent grinded into the handlebars by the force of the collision.
I’m positive this isn’t 170 MPH, 170 KPH maybe…

i agree with you, and i recon he was doing between 150-200 kmh max at the point of impact, but it is hard to tell, it always look slower on film.

amazing he just came away with a injured lung!!
I agree with you. some folks are unreal. I didn’t know he had survived. that is good news, judging fy the footake it was a pretty close call.
FACT: it must be a white guy
Why’s that?
cos you see him in the video i guess.
Yeah def
Keepw your hands on the wheel.
How many times have you been told that?
