Motorcycle Reviews: 2009 Kawasaki ZX-6R vs. Triumph Daytona 675 Read full the full story at Motorcycle.com www.motorcycle.com After besting its Japanese 600cc stable mates, the Kawasaki ZX-6R takes on the best of Britain - the Triumph Daytona 675 - in a Supersport Faceoff. Who will win this battle of objective vs. subjective and style over substance?

Its a 6-7 175 cc engine! Is that the best reporter you have to offer!
This guy’s style of reporting isn’t overly effusive. You sometimes get the feeling that some presenters may be in the pocket of a particular manufacturer and therefore willing to give a thumbs up to a turd on two wheels.
kawasaki ftw!
“Kawasaki Heavy Industries “is a Legend , this is the way of live in Japan , Perfection !!!!
I agree he seemed to stay very neutral and informative by all means!! boils down to what your going for!! I say the triumph for sure only get rid of the red!!
i like the kawi!!!!
I just bought one of these Kawi’s!!! I pick it up tomorrow!
the seat is horrible on the kawa. did you even ride em?
the kawa is a horrible ride too! its still all high-revs. alright, they improved the midrange but its utter horrible to ride on the road.
the triumph has good low, mid and upper and a very nice seat. its pegs aint so comfortable, but god its so much better in everyway.
track – id take the kawa.
but every day, id buy the triumph.
Neither of these bikes comes anywhere close to being anything even beginning to slightly resemble a “turd on two wheels”. So I don’t know what the hell you are talking about…
i like the kawi always have but daytona sounds beatiful
ZX6R or Daytona 675 for a first bike???
a used bike is the best bargain for your 1st year but if you must – which bike do you think looks better???
I think that the new ZX6r is not also beautiful than the oldest model (2005 – 2008) but the daytona is very nice. i never saw it on the road, but on picture and vidéo i think that it is the most beautiful sport bikes.
well, i know i am not the only one to fall off his 1st (and 2nd) bike, so think of scratching up that beautiful bike! better off getting a great bargain on a used kawi and learning (and having fun), then get the dream bike after
you make a good point. all bikes should be ridden before buying. many will dissapoint you with such basic things as ergos or engine characteristics
the triumph looks just like a Ducati 848, or 1098, that’s bull!!!
The kawasaki is way better. The Triumph’s body style is a rip-off of a Ducati.
You misunderstood me. I simply meant that I very much like your unbiased reporting, whereas other testers often seem predisposed to the exact opposite. Keep up the good work.
Best regards from Wales, UK.
who cares..
yea,,, i think people forget.. ss600 are meant for the race track not for a commuter bike..
its a big deal because Ducati is much better than Triumph. They realize that and now they have to copy them, its bull-shit.
green way better:P
triumph
Go the triumph! I bought a 675SE a few months ago and its awesome and everyone loves it. No regrets!
build quailty and materials are a bit cack though…but still an amazing bike!
