    i saw this band in bradford 1979 backing thin lizzy i wood love to see agine . i saw gary moore in leeds in april he was rubbish it was the 4 time i have seen him the 1st was at the gig with saxson he was playing with lizzy at that time. thanks for puting this on saxson are a good yorkshire band all best from yorkshire

    …and I saw them live in Sarajevo 1983, they were just increddible! I love them since then, never saw better hard rock band live! SAXON FOREVER !!!!!

    LOL! Class,I bet not many will remember TOPT mate! I saw Saxon at Mildenhall,Suffolk @ 1981. One of the support acts was Samson (just after Bruce Dickinson had left) & they were both awesome. We had camped overnight & were woken by soundchecks thinking a fucking 747 was landing on us!! Great days!

    Yorkshiremilk, saw the same Lizzy/Saxon gig, brilliant. We got our 1st pine dining suite from non other than Steve Dawson’s Pine Warehouse in Rotherham, QUALITY stuff and a quality bloke! Oh yes, I love this track….Wheels of Steel and most of all, Priest’s British Steel made my 1980!!

    Biff has such an awesome voice! Isn’t it amazing these REAL bands reproduce their studio performances onstage so well? Watch Dickinson on Maiden’s “Flight 666″. American Idol a-holes would weep if asked to try what Biff, Bruce, Dio, Geddy, Halford, etc do at every show of a tour! I can’t belive the notes Biff hits on Lionheart, like on Justice. Fantastic!

    course my fav song is STILL “See the Light Shining” on “Wheels of Steel”…that riff in the 2nd 1/2 of the song is the ULTIMATE metal riff!
