   Buells are such good bikes. Just wish the lightnings would have the rotax engines and the bikes not be serviced at harley dealers.

   the only thing about that motor that is harley is the logo stamped on the block. The rest of it is race oriented.

   different bikes all together… I have nothing against cruiser bikes but most harleys are flat out to fucking loud. when people inside there cars are covering there ears so they don’t bleed its not cool anymore.

   harley owners, if your bike is that loud please realise that the sound you are hearing is not performance its just called bad exhaust and it makes all bikers look like assholes

   Yeah, when you rev a harley they lope. When you rev a buell the back sucks down and it is snappy. There is a reason why…bc it isn’t a naked harley. Look up all the technology on it, its sick.

    no, the stock rear gears on buells are already pretty big thus allowing you to use the torque really easily

    they were, buell have had their own factory for a long time thoguh.
    theya re owned by harley, they just don’t use theri engines anymore.

    buel still uses a harley sportster based engine in all bikes other than the rotax designed 1125. you can get a Drummer muffler to get a deep good sound. check out american sportbike. i own an 08 XB12R
