luv the vids guys. keep it up. one question tho, does the x11 come w/ an anti fog sheild or is that separate? thnx.

  2. Sportbiketrackgear says:

Shoei offers a Pinlock shield system which is anti fog. It is a spearate option.

Cool review. Are you guys going to do a review of the Shoei RF-1000? How would you compare the RF-1000 to the X-11?

  4. Skylancer2k4 says:

the ventilation on the x-11 is more than enough to provide for the anti-fog and im positive you wont need it

  6. Sportbiketrackgear says:

Thanks, I am a helmet addict

The fogging issue on my X-11 is th reason why I’m watching this video in the first place. It fogs up really bad.

  8. Sportbiketrackgear says:

Look into the pinlock visor system to stop the fogging issue. Beyond that this an excellent helmet

  9. IGOTTASRT8 says:

Purchased it about 10 minutes ago online….just didn’t like having to. I also have an HJC AC-12 Carbon that NEVER gives me any fogging issues. The HJC is much noisier though.

BTW- Great reviews! Thanks for going through the trouble.

Brian, I really enjoy the video.

I am currently in S. Korea and own both the Japanese market X-9 and the X-11.

Arai’s are nice, but people here “chavinistically” think that it is not a helmet unless it is an Arai.

Keep up the good work. You are providing a service to all those interested!.

Have you tried XR 1000? i tried M size but my cheek left lil bit outside of helm. But when i try size L its good but too loosy.. maybe my head is too tall or something.. Anyway you reviews are best in youtube.

  14. Sportbiketrackgear says:

Thanks and no I have never tried the XR 1000.

  15. oceanwave10 says:

This is second hand information, but I was informed by an importer that XR 1000 is the marketing name for RF 1000 in Europe. Information on the RF should pertain to your helmet as well.

  16. tengshow says:

XR1000 is for Euro ; RF1000 is for USA
I had the same problem with M for the XR1k. Perfect forehead fit but tight around the cheekbones. Going up a size does help at the downside of poorer fit as the cheekpad loosens out.
The X-11 has a better cheek fit and if you needed some cheek room but want the same forehead measurement, X-11 will fit extremely well.

With fogging issues, I use CORE Fog-Off cleaner. Absolutely no problems.

Got a Pefect fit with no fog and minimal drag noise.

Shoei X 11 fits my head like a glove I tried all of them. This is the best helmet in the World period!
