where can i get black rubber tubes?
I use the stuff made by the Hygienic corporation. I buy it on ebay, but I guess you can buy it from orthopedic retail stores, too.

Not anymore. I had 50 pcs made and sold them (non-profit) to fellow slingshot friends, but those are long sold out.
Do you ever get hit in the hand after releasing your hold on the slingshot?
No, that never happened to me. If you watch my slow motion studies (here on youtube), you will see how smooth things work.
A hit on the hand would be truly devastating. The slingshot has enough power to break your bones.

why someone need one of those slingshots since you can just made one out of a wood fork and have the same fun…

wie ist das eigentlich rechtlich gesehen mit zwillen? ab wann zählen diese als waffen?
Zwillen sind in D nicht als Waffen eingestuft. Man darf sie frei erwerben (ohne Altersbegrenzung) und in der Öffentlichkeit mit sich tragen. Nur Präzisionsschleudern, die eine Armstütze haben, oder die Armstützen selbst sind verbotene Gegenstände.
