Right because no one else has nukes?
This is why the US is not afraid of North Korea having nukes, or of Russia having nukes, or Russians teaching Muslims how to build nukes. Please, the US could not take on the whole world
This film seems a bit romanticized as, sadly, Che would become ruthless. Yet, it beautifully shows how he changed so drastically when he witnessed injustice. Like all Communists, he eventually went down a very dark road.
Che and Castro started out with noble intentions, then eventually they murdered people for their cause. Cubans are are not allowed to travel freely. Is that freedom? Like all of us, Che had some good and some bad.
In war, people get killed-that is why it sucks!
Had kennedy lifted the embargo, Cuba would have been a much different place, which is why the U.S has not lifted it.
True, after 50 years the embargo has not served its’ purpose. It is becoming apparent that at this point in history, the USA is one of the few countries to stand up for freedom. Whenever anyone is on trouble, they come looking to Americans for help. Like it or not, that is true.
-No, it has served it’s purpose, which is to punish Cuba…and what is your point? I am not anti-USA. You said Che went down a dark path and claimed to know something about him or the Cuban revolution. You clearly DO NOT. Your logic basically states that George Washington, or Sam Adams went down a “dark road”-
i stated that Communists, specifically, go down a dark road, The men you mentioned were not Communists. Ask Cubans who have fled here what they think of Che and Castro. Do you know how wealthy Castro is? He lives like a king, that military outfit is a front.
We were talking about Che! I don’t need to ask any Cuban anything, because I spent some time in Latin America and I know the way things go down over there. Had Cuba been allowed to trade after the revolution, things would have been very different. However, The U.S wanted to continue to let it’s corporations and mafias rape Cuba for all it was worth-
The story of Che is very much intertwined with the Cuban revolution, I ‘m sure you realize that. Anyway, thank God we live in a country where people can hold different points of view and hopefully still respect one another.
cuba and fidel are smart to let the stupid gringos off cuba i mean take a look at el salvador guatemala panama nicaragua how poor their countries are how the usa and china put factories over there and pay people a penny a day. cuba is smart so is its communist thank god cuba isnt kissing ass like mexico…
your right everyone looks for help from the US and thnx to them, horishima and nagaski is a nice place to go for a holiday, the vietmese still give birth to mutated children, the north koreans vent their anger out on EVERYONE because they HATE the US, we are in one the biggest financial crises ever and iraq is now a “democracy.”
How could this journey not change one’s mind? I mean Che came out of this with a whole new perspective. I would really love to find the paths to which he took and follow those trails if they still exist.
Che Guevarra is a saint with a gun. he was Cuba’s middle finger to Uncle Sam’s face.
That’s the best comment I heard in years
nice metaphor, completely agree

So everyone launching nukes at each other is smart, right? Stop being ignorant.

Kill me with kindness, woman!
I agree-
I love it when people have passion for their ideas. God bless.
I loved the movie! It was so beautiful-the verses ,the divine music, the person portrayed as Che…inspirational!
