Third Eye Blind – Motorcycle Drive By (Fillmore, San Fran)
The fan favorite performed on night two of the Fillmore shows (March 14, 2007). Ironically, Third Eye Blind has recently found itself rejuvenated with larger crowds than ever before and yet their fourth album is finally now on the way.. Loyalty pays off. ..And I don't know what I'm doing in this city, the sun is always in my eyes..

well on the cd the bridge sounds waaaaaaaay better than on here. I think it’s because it’s live and because they fired their former bassist, Kevin Cadogan.
Nope not funny. Awesome.
kevin cadogan wasn’t a bassist, you know
3:25 is incredible
I did a cover of this, it’s on my youtube page, still nothing compared to this though… damn.
“And this is the lasssssst time we’ll be friends again” 3:09 Hearbreakenly true!
This whole song is genius!
it’s more like “and this is the laaaaaaaaaaaaaast time, we’ll be friends again.” i love that. I don’t mean to be rude by correcting you.
to all people who grew up in the 90s.. this is it right here!!!one of the most awsome reasons to have given our youth’s memories to this music!!
the most wonderful thing to listen to this music and have a crazy memory or flashback of ur life as a kid.. now that is truly amazing!
i was actually gonna comment on that and how it really almost sounds like a choir in the background. haha.
Nah, that’s cool.
And you are right, lol. It is how you have it. I love that line also.
The fact that he can play and sing this song at the same time is an amazing feat of itself, but these guys are just… wow i want a show near me!
I saw them at the house of blues in May. They are my favorite band and it’s been my dream to see them for a long time. The show was amazing. There were tons of hardcore fans there. Great song…great lyrics…great performance…
“And this is the last time we’ll be friends again. I’ll get over you. You won’t know who I am. And there’s a burning like there’s always been. I’ve never been so alone, and I- I’ve never been so alive…”
i finally realized why 3eb is not as good as they were in 1997-2000. Kevin Cadogan. He was the best. Stephan Jenkins has mediocre vocals and Fredianelli is no comparison to Cadogan.
so in 1997-2000 jenkins so-called mediocre vocals were offset by cadogans guitar? or did kevin sing for the band then? funny you comment about vocals on this video in which jenkins gives a great performance. i agree cadogan is a great musician and his songwriting with jenkins produced the classics, but seriously get over it.
no, kevin didn’t sing, but you gotta admit, the songs were only good because of the music in the background.
you’re gonna tell me this performance above doesn’t sound good? i would love another record with jenkins and cadogan written together, but 3eb has survived and survived pretty well.
the performance is good, but in 1997 it was better.
i agree cadogan makes the band better musically live and also adds to the songwriting. that said, jenkins vocals are significantly better live since 1997-2000. i don’t think they will ever have an album as solid as the first one, but that is a pretty high standard, but in my view live they are overall better mostly b/c of the improved vocals. bottom line, two great musicians..too bad they couldn’t keep it together. fortunately we are still getting good stuff from each 10+ years later.
ok, I agree to all of that.
Personally i think 3eb has blossomed without cadogan. Better musician? The old songs were simple chord variations and the new stuff is much more complex. The only reason the new 3eb arent classics is because they tried to produce it on their own and word never got out about out of the vein. Theyve got great new songs. LOVE 3EB
This,….Man… makes You wanna just cry Holy……is there a more beautiful song
beautiful
The crowd really ruined this song.
FUCK YOU THEY MADE IT THE BEST
haha, a little touchy aren’t we?
